I draw things.
I draw people, places and things. I draw with ink, charcoal and paint. I draw on paper, canvas but primarily wood. Drawing I began taking seriously when I realized how useful a tool it was to discover how little I knew of the world.
When I draw I’m forced to question what I’m looking at. Whether the reference is from direct seeing, memory or photo, I always find that I never truly know what is presented to me. This I find existentially thrilling. And this is why I spend as much time as I can in my kitchen in Stockholm, my sisters basement, my girlfriends garage in the alps or outdoor somewhere making images.
Perhaps by looking through this even the slightest thrill might be evoked in you. Be that as it may - here’s a welcome to my online platform for family, friends and strangers to have a look at what I do.
If you have any questions about any of my work, would like to place an order or commission - please do send me an email. Prices can be discussed. I’d much rather know that something I’ve made is of some use to someone somewhere as opposed to collecting dust up in my attic (which is not very big - so by buying something you’d support me financially as well as spatially).
